CLEreg is the Continuing Legal Education Regulators Association. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for the discussion and exchange of information among administrators of mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) programs. CLEreg membership is open to administrators and the administrative staff of organizations responsible for the regulation of mandatory continuing legal education.

Long Range Planning Committee acts as a think tank for long term projects and initiatives to ensure the overall health of the organization. Strategies are pursued for positive long term commitments to financial outlook, bylaw maintenance and other constructive research projects.

The Management Committee provides support and guidance to the Executive Director. To date accomplishments include: Interview and hire of organization's Executive Director, securing office and support for Executive Directory, securing immediate financial health for the position. The management Committee also collaborates with Long Range Planning and other Committees as desired for positive outlook of CLEreg.

Membership Committee tasks include recruiting additional members, updating Membership Directory, serving as a welcoming committee and point of contact for new members. The membership committee meets at CLEreg's Annual and Mid Year Meetings and prepares campaigns and projects for the following year.
CLEreg's Technology Committee serves as a clearinghouse of technical information. It's continuing mission, to explore developing technologies in relation to regulatory administration and facilitate discussion and education on such topics. The committee also maintains the CLEreg listserv website and provides other technical programs and projects.
The Uniformity Committee was born out of a 2001 Task Force appointed to compare the accreditation process and policy in the various MCLE states to determine commonalities and standard deviations. This committee continues to monitor and investigate avenues for standardization where possible. Projects have included: Distance Learning glossary of terms, 50/60 minute credit hour reports, review of accreditation forms and collaboration with ACLEA on joint educational sessions.
Dedicated members contribute their talents and time to help make future meetings a success. With an open invitation for volunteers, the meeting planning committee plays an active role in developing the agenda and topics for the Mid-Year and Annual Meetings. These committees are excellent ways to get involved and get to know your peers.
